The Dream

Once there was a girl named Jenn. She lived in her dreams, but she never
woke up. In this dream world she lived in she had a boyfriend named Evan. He
was perfect, sweet caring, trusting, funny, nice, and gorgeous, the absolute
works. He existed in real life, but was the exact opposite. He was cruel and
manipulative, he took people for granted and used them for all he could, and
threw them away. It was a good thing Jenn was always sleeping, or else she
would see the real him. Which would hurt her very very much. So she just
continued to dream of her perfect boyfriend, and all was well. The Evan in
the dream wished she would never wake up and see the real him and she’d
break up with him, but worse he’d have no one to use and abuse. If she
really did see him, she’d break it off, she’d see just how much she was
being used and played. She’d see how much better it could be and God help us
all she’d see how much time she was wasting on this sorry loser and she was
holding herself back from what she could be. So I guess it was a pretty good
thing she was always asleep. Well guess what. One day she woke up…
