One step forward

Troublesome young lady comes in from the rain. Helpless and hiding from
some kind of pain. She doesn’t know the reason for the way that she feels,
and she don’t know the truth but she knows it is real. So she throws down
her card and asks god to re-deal once more.

One step forward and two steps back. She might be strange but she’ll never
lack. She’ll reach her arms up, to the sky and say, ‘Oh my God, don’t you
let him say Goodbye’.

Troublesome man comes walking this way. Walking real tall like this is his
day. Well his boots make him tall and that’s what he thinks. But he can’t
disappear in the whisky he drinks. The harder he acts the deeper he sinks
again.

One step forward and two steps back. He might be strange but he’ll never
lack. He’ll reach his arms up to the sky and say ‘Oh my God don’t you let
her say goodbye’.
